McCarran Airport is located one mile (2km) south of the Las Vegas Strip.Las Vegas airport has a number of shops, bars and restaurants, and of course lots of slot machines. There are ATMs, a full-service bank and currency exchange in Arrivals and Departures. Free wireless Internet connections are available for those with their own Wi-Fi enabled computers, or Internet kiosks are located in the C and D Gates. There is also a Fitness Center, children's play area, shoe-shiners and information booths. Disabled facilities are good; those with special needs should inform their airline or travel agent in advance.

If you are arriving on an internal flight you will arrive in terminal 1 getting to your luggage and transport may or may not involve a short ride on a monorail into the main terminal building. Once there you will find a very large but very busy luggage reclaim area. Many of the hotels have check in desks in the reclaim area if your hotel is one of these it’s worth taking the time to check in before claiming your bags. Once you have your bags you can precede towards your transportation towards the strip.

International flights arrive at the much smaller Terminal 2 and this does not have the full facilities of Terminal 1 nor does it have hotel check in services. You will clear immigration and customs, collect your luggage and then walk out of the terminal, you will then see the ground transportation options.

Basically you have 4 choices of transport from McCarran International Airport Car Rental, Limo, Cab, Shuttle,

Shuttle/Limousine services are available at McCarran, and are located on the west side of baggage claim, outside door exits 7-13. Please note that there are both group shuttle and "for-hire" limousine services.

Taxicabs are available on the east side of baggage claim, outside door exits 1-4.  Airport personnel are available on the taxi curb to assist passengers.

McCarran Rent-A-Car Center shuttles depart approximately every five minutes to the new McCarran Rent-A-Car Center. Exit door 10 or 11.
